Cool

Hi MOPAR FREAKS! After a 10 year 'hyatis' from MOPARs I am BACK. Was a MOPAR FREAK for 30 years and sold my last one in 1990. Missed them ecer since. Got involved with Kitcars and just haven't had a good MOPAR opportunity presented to me till now.

I recently acquired a couple of 84 Dodge Conquests (I know, they aren't TRUE MOPARS) and last week got an 82 Jeep CJ10 4WD pickup with a 440 conversion already done! This truck will replace my 82 Chevy S10 RallyCross race truck, which I so0ld a month ago and which won me 3 RallyCross Championships in Open 2 Wheel and Group 2/5 in the last two years.

Now I want to play with the BIG BOYS TOYS and am going to run Open 4 Wheel class and steal that championship as well!

The 440 is in p0-retty bad shape, it runs, but barely, either valves or timing chain, or??? Time to recall all my prevuios 30 years of MPOPAR lore and expertise (???)!

I am in North Las Vegas, Nv and these people seem to think that MOPAR parts are gold mines. I recall that MOPAR parts used to be extremely reasonable and plentiful but I guess times, and prices, have changed. So much for finding a decent used MOPAR RB engine (413-426-440). I have found a nice set of 915 heads at a good price. If I recall correctly they are the hi compression low chamber volume heads.

Anyway, nuff for now, will keep you all posted and will put stuff on my website soon about the truck. I also plan to restore on Conquest to good street condition and the other one will be modified for SCCA Prepared class Solo II racing.

Later guys!

Welcome back.I was pulled into the fold in 1980 at the age of 15 when I did my first 340 rebuild in a local barn for a friend. The r.p.m. of that thing compared to mama's slowsmobile hooked me,and that thermo-quad sounded so cool.I think I speak for all when I say if we can help you embarrass another brand by way of our cumulative knowledge, feel free to ask all the questions you have to.

Yes I am. I was in Portland from 1980 tto 1990 and ran collected, showed, and raced 1966 Dodge Chargers, you probably remember my red 66 ProBracket and my Blue 66 ProStreet Chargers.

Moved to Phoenix for a while then to Corona, Ca for 5 years and then here to Vegas in 1995.

Later...
