Default oil pan

when i put the 360 in, it already had the right pan to clear the k-frame on the duster. problem in, the center link on the suspension has been coming in contact with it and wearing a hole in it on the passengers side only. the pan is one for a 78 diplomat. are the ones for A-bodys different? how should i go about modifying it? need to fix it before i can really drive the car much...

I had a simalar problem with the Cuda. The center link was installed backwards.
Worse come to worse, get a hammer.

centerlinks in right, so theres that. a hammers a decent idea, but would i be better off welding in a notch? something like that? im not against fabrication. thats the fun part of hot rodding. but i do wanna save myself unnecessary work while still doing it right....

I think the hammer might do the trick if all else is right. A couple of light taps just to make room. I hate when things like that pop up.

Check the motor mounts and make sure they are good. Also if the car was originally a 6cyl,and still has the 6cyl ft suspension, the center link will hit the pan,and you'll need to change it.
