holley float bowl problem
Basic question, just starting working on this thing so I am still learning. Sorry to be so ignorant. I tried to adjust the float level on my Holley 4160. The primary adjusted fine, right at the site plug hole where it barley trickles out now. But the back one, I couln't get anything to come out. It turned the screw all the way out and still nothing. I know fuel is going in there because it sprayed all over out of the top when I loosened the adjustment nut! So, first of all, what part do I need to fix that problem. And second, with the fuel level in the secondary being so low, that would cause all sorts of perf problems right?

Take out the needle & seat assembly (with the engine shut off) and see if the needle is stuck. I've never had one stick closed but have had trouble with them sticking open. If there's fuel getting to it but nothing coming out what else could it be? Replacement parts for Holley carbs are pretty easy to find, check a local speed shop or auto parts store that handles performance parts.
