Exclamation Magnum Rods

I think the rods and the cranks are the same between the Magnum engines and the older LA series engines. There was somebody selling parts of a 5.9L Magnum in the parts section. Maybe you can get a rod from him.

All 360 rods are press pin from the factory. Most 340's were full floaters.

I have a 74 360 that I put together and a 360 crate motor. The rods look almost identical. I would still try to find the correct rod for your application though if I was you. By the way, why do you need only one rod?

Default magnum rod

we had two nuts holding the air cleaner stud in the carb it had been that way for years never had a problem.somehow the nuts came off and one went into number 3 cylinder and grenaded the piston into a million pieces and bent the rod in the process

Sorry to hear that. I do the same thing with my studs. I think I will LockTite them in place. I have looked at a number of sites for a single rod for a Magnum with no sucess. I would say to call Mopar to get a replacement but the price may be steep. They do sell individual rods. I will keep looking.....someone has one for sale somewhere.
