exhaust manifolds
Does anyone out there know what would be a better choice for performance, the early 70's hi-po 340 exhaust manifolds or the new magnum ones? They are to be used in a oval track 360 c.i. 9 to 1 motor with a stock holley 2 barrel.

The newer Magnum manifolds w/ 2 1/4 inch out let is what you want. These manifolds are the first one produced in the early '90's. Later units have smaller exhaust port size outlets. Not what you want.
The exact flow numbers are unknown to me. These should very well still be avialable brand new from the dealer. Try and get a discount from them via club. |

According to Mopar Performance the "Magnum" and the early "Hi-Flows" make equal power, although a combination of each of the sets makes the most Horsepower. On the pass side manifold , the Hi-flow makes more H.P. Driver's side the Magnum is better.
Mopar to ya, If you can afford the higher prices Hi-Flows |
