Default New Fuel line size?

Hello all,

So i wanna replace my pump-to-tank fuel line with a new stainless one, and was wondering if it might be good to go up a size. right now i've got the '68 b-body stock fuel line, unsure of the size. But I'll soon be upgrading the small block engine with a new intake & one of those demon sizzler TQ carbs. In the future, a few years down the road, I might drop in a big block.

So what size do you think would be best for a somewhat built, non-racing, street small block that could also work for a big block down the road? 1/2"?

thanks for any info,

toast

3/8" since you're going to replace the line. Will be fine for a big block.

1/2" if you're gonna add nitrous.

Remember to replace the fuel line in the tank.

Hey thanks for the info... 3/8th it is, for no NO is planned for my car...

also i'm thinking I'll just buy a full pre-bent kit from finelines. I'll check if that includes the in-tank lines or not...

thanks again...

fuel line is pretty much like a cooling system.. you can't go to big, but you can definatley go to small!

Yea, i know i could prob bend my own, and save money, but after installing new stainless pre-bent brakelines and having it be sooo easy i gotta say pre-bent is the way to go. i think it took longer to bleed the air out of the brake system than it did to replace all the lines!
