wheel/tire size and backspacing

I am curious about were to find info on how to factor wheel size and back spacing and tire sizing.
I drive a 74 charger and would like to max out wheel and tire width.

Measure it yourself. First measure your axle heights, this way you can set up your jack stands for the proper height after you take off your tires. Take your rear tires off, lower the car back down on the jack stands. Use three plumbs, one from the fenderwell, one from the drum face and the last from the inside obstruction. Best to measure both sides because they may be different. This will give you exact measurements to work with.
