i have a question about headers. All the mopars i see on the street that have cams and such always have exhaust manifolds and not headers? the only mopars i see that have headers are racing ones. whats the deal? do you guys run headers on the street?

For max performance, you would want to run headers. There are those that don't, for lots of reasons... noise, getting dinged up are a few. All a matter of personal preference I suppose.

Headers are illaegal to have in many places. So its not worth the bother to go around the law for some peaple.
Also, technicaly, <SP> even "street" headers are race units. They can be concidered replacement parts here if the car did not have them when purchased. (Exhaust manifolds) At 1 5/8 primary tube, it is a lower performance header.
If its 1 7/8 inch primary tube, its thought as a race header.
@ 2 inch ,its "race" only.
These size primary tubes are for small blocks. Big blocks , of course are larger.
And of course !!!! I run headers in the street.

I've put headers on nearly every car I've owned, so here's my opinion....Generally speaking, headers are a pain in the a**. Unless you spend a bunch of $$$ (and sometimes even when you do) they leak, rub and rust. They are louder than iron manifolds and put alot of extra heat into the engine compartment. Headers also make it hard to change the plugs, not to mention the starter. Still, I run 'em on the street. (I guess I'm a glutton for punishment)
