I was trying to install subframe connectors on Turdzilla and being real careful not to nick, tweak or burn the stock brake lines. My buddy Al said "Here let me help you." He took a pair of cutters and cut my brake line in two and yanked it out of the way. I was a little ticked off at first. Then he asked if I really wanted to depend on brake lines that were over 30 years old and rusty, etc. There is only about $35.00 of brake line in an entire car. Cheap insurance when you trip the lights at 130mph+. Just another one of those things I hadn't thought about.

The ones in my Dart are original issue and work fine. It's not a bad idea though.
