Sprg Reloc Kit rearend measurements?
Anyone with the spring relocation kit in a B body remember the pearch to pearch measurements? I know it says 3" each side is this right? Did you narrow the housing too or keep it stock? I'm having a Dana 60 cut down and new pads done and the springs will be abit later so thought i'd get the housing ready now- thanks

According to the MP catalog, the springs will be moved in 3" per side. At the least you'll need to do a mini tub to take full advantage of the extra space between the fender and spring. I'm going to use the 1" relo-kit for my Cuda as I want the stock look and don't want to cut the car, but I need just a bit more room for slicks. Has anyone out there done the 1" on a E-body? How well did it work? Any suggestions as to installation tips appreciated!............djs

After you have the springs mounted, take a tape measure and measure from the outside of one spring to the inside of the other. This will give you the width between the bolt ends used to locate the axle on the top of the springs. Give this measurement to the fabricator and they will be able to weld the axle cups on correctly.
