I'm wanting to swap a factory 360 intake and Thermoquad in place of the 2bbl on my '79 318 D100 Ram. Can the stock 2bbl throttle and kickdown linkage can be used? Throttle cable? What about the fuel line? The truck is in desperate need of more torque. Can anyone help me out?

It will wpork. You will have to bend and make it work. I did this with my '79 Dodge Magnum. I used what the car came with. The carb was a Carter 625 cfm AFB. New version.
There was fab. work on the fuel line. It won't bolt right on. Add a rubber hose and a new filter. The throttle cable is a strech. It work for me. Wasn't preety, but, it work fine. If more toruqe is the hunt, change your cam. Degree it in. |

Go to:
Demon Sizzler's Carter ThermoQuad Connection Specializing in Rebuilding and Modifying Carter ThermoQuads at: http://home.earthlink.net/~mrburke/demonsizzler/kits for your 2 to 4 barrel conversion. They have a kickdown linkage kit for what you want to do. |
