I have a Carter fuel pump and its making a strange noise. It is the style that you can rotate the inlet fitting. Anyway, what does a rebuild accomplish, and how much is the kit?. I have a Holley fuel pump spring still in the blister pack, but there is no check balls or anything. Im wondering if the 2 are similar in operation. It is not leaking, just making a cavitating sound that it never did before. Thanks
