Biggrin carb selection

Hey-Glen thats an awesome swap...the 360's got the grunt to move the truck.I put one in my ramcharger but ran a t-quad,it was a little bitchy to get set up at first but omygawd did it run good, mileage was about 14/15 highway with 35 bf goodriches and 3.91 gear. The edlebrock 625 would make a great carb for your application due to increased port velocity on the primaries.I believe at one point edelbrock had one calibrated for a 360 mopar (?????)good luck...Plus think of the cool dual snorkle police air cleaner you can run-as a bonus you can get the air cleaner intake hoses from a van(real long) and plumb them to the rad support

To be honest........I hate Edelbrock carbs. I remembered why when I was looking at my buddies carb. He pulled out a metering rod and it has a 4 digit part number and you need to change jets and rods. I have a few Holley carbs. I just have to look for an intake with egr for a square bore carb. I do have a good running thermoquad, but I don't like them either. There will be no hotroddin it cause it needs to be my tow vehicle. I was going to dump a 400 in it with headers but decided for emissions I needed something that could pass.
I have a 440 Volare for my fun car........it will be my daily driver with the truck being used to trailer it to the track and all around beater...........then backup is a Turbo Daytona. Insurance is so easy to change between vehicles now. One phonecall or fax and its done.
You have to see the ramair on the Volare. I didn't even think about it for the truck.......thanks.
