Default Intake for Magnum engines?

How's it going out there mopar land?

My guestion to all the small block guys is, Does anybody make a carburated intake for 92-up magnum engines. I would like to upgrade the motor in my 87 D250, I have access to 99 5.9L from a low mileage wreck.
Any suggestions or tips would be of great help

P.S. the truck has 5.9L now,with 518 auto

I do believe that Mopar has something just for you! Open up a catolog or go to .manciniracing.com
A good street carb is a 600-650 cfm.

Thanks 360 after I posted this I got out the 2001 MPP catalog and lo and behold there they are. Thanks for the carb info but, the plan is for home made EFI conversion based on the GM TPI system. I need to check out if I can use the stock manifold and injectors with my home made set up.
I'm looking in the MPP catalog and they have both single and dual plane manifolds for this application

Thanks Again

Mopar also sells a replacement single plane intake for the truck Magnum to replace the "beer barrel" intake used stock. It is a finished piece. The TB, rails and AC brackets are all there.. If the engine you are getting had all the EFI stuff still on it then you will have an easier time with the swap.

Hey Dart, Where do you live? I possibly would like some parts off that wrecked ram. You can have the engine....But I would like the wiring harness form the front end/computer and the injections stuff if you are not going to use it....

Sorry xf69fs but I am in south florida, long way from you.
Those trucks are all over the place here, I'm talking about late model junk yards.
Anyway I went to check out the truck they told me about on the phone, and it had been swimming!!! so the motor was no good As always if it sounds to good to be true it probably isn't Besides I would be using the injection set up, just not the harness or the ECM, being that 96 and up has OBD II and its to restrictive.

Hey hammer do have the part # for the piece that you are talking about?
Sounds interesting

Thanks Again

I did not reread my last post until now. The rails and bracket holes are there, not the actual parts. Sorry, it was late at night/ early morning.
