Best way to install new lifters?
When installing a new cam & lifter set, what is the proper procedure for installing the lifters?
How do I check lifter pre-load if they're not pumped up? Help. Thanks, MoJoe |

With bled down lifters is best! You only want to depress plunger .050 for race. Are you running adj.hyd. or not?

No, I'm not using adjustable. Just the stock rockers.
What was worrying me was if I check the pre-load with the lifters bled down (dry inside), what's going to happen when they pump up? Won't that make my pre-load too heavy? MoJoe |

If you use anti-pump lifters your ok-I only use Mopar lifters w/non-adj. rockers. The oil hole's in the right place, others give you small block lifters had bad time w/those,put in stock B's worked great.
