Default Westin Safari Bar on D?

Hello all!

I was considering the westin safari bar for my D. Anyone install this item or have any + or - comments?
Which fog lights would work with this bar?
Thanks.
Nik

I have a safari bar, sorry no pictures though. It is easy to mount, just loosen the 5 bumper bracket bolts on each side, the safari bar bracket slides between the frame and bumper bracket and then tighten it back up. Tip: one person can install it but best to have two b/c when I finished up, I noticed my bumper was too low now b/c no one was holding it so I had to loosen everything again and slide the bumper back up.

Lights, I used a 6" round (can't go bigger than that) product from 3A racing, ran the wires behind the valance and into the cab.

I get most comments about the exterior on this item.

Hey 2001 Durango R/T!
I see that you are also from Ontario.
Which city/town are you located in?
Are there any Durango Clubs in Ontario that you know of?

Thanks Kevin, that helps!

Nix - I don't know of a D club, I have a friend who is part of a Mopar club, but mostly Dakotas and classics there.

I took some pictures of my Durango yesterday including the Safari Bar...I'll post them when they come back on the CD. Mine shows up better on a red truck plus I took a side profile to show you how far it sticks out. (if you have a front license plate ,etc)

Cool Kevin, mine's red too so I'll be able to judge and see how mine will look. Post it on your site too!

Attaboy! You know, we should all go out and get some cheap digital cameras so that we can do this more quickly!
