Question

Does anyone know where 3-1/2 in. or larger exhaust pipes can be purchased? Jegs & Summit only carry 3.0 in. and all the local muffler shops usually carry only 2-1/2 max!
My last 3 in. was mandrel bent by Meineke Muffler but they don't go any larger.

Try: www.burnsstainless.com
They have a limited amount of the bigger stuff in stock, but if you have the time I'm sure they could accommodate your other requests.
I've used their 304 3" SS for my system.

I have used big truck exhaust parts, they work just fine. The only problem is that they are very heavywall stuff (.080")and weigh alot.

I had a muffler shop put my 3.5" exhaust on.
This shop does alot of larger trucks too.
The problem is the tube is not mandrel bent, and exits at the rear axle. I think the mandrel bent 3" system from TTI would probbly flow almost the same, at least on the 451 stroker I don't expect to loose much performance when I put the 3" system on.
The benifit is the 3" system exits out the back over and is quieter.

Borla has some neat oval tubing too for extra ground clearance, usually used by the circle track guys.

One quick question: Why do you need 3.5" exhaust?

If your intrested I'm going to remove my 3.5" exhaust with the larger case Dynomax 6" welded race magnum mufflers. These are good for the track, but a bit too loud for me.
These are connected to the hooker 2" super comp headers on my 451 stroker. The car is a "b" body '71 Charger and the exhaust dumps at the rear axle with turn-downs.
I paid way to much for the 3.5" system (about $450!), but If it will fit your car I'll sell it for $300.
I also have a set of the smaller (louder) 3.5" Dynomax 4" race magnum bullet mufflers that I'll sell if your intrested.
