Charger GTS?
I was reading and looking at the recent Mopar Action magazine and saw a 68 Charger with a Viper V-10 in it. I also noticed the GTS logo at the front and rear of the car where the R/T logo would be.
I hope this is not a dumb question but did Dodge ever make a Charger GTS? I for one never heard of one before this one. Gabe Here are some pics from the magazine from my link: http://members.shaw.ca/gabster2/chrgts.jpg |

Like the V-10, the GTS emblems are not original.

'68 Chargers came in the following trim levels: Charger and Charger R/T.
There was a Charger 500 trim level for '69. It may have been a '68 option also. Anybody know? |

Charger and Charger R/T are all that was offered in '68. There has never been a GTS Charger. If you look, you will notice that the GTS emblems are those of a Viper, like the engine.

Thank You
It kind of sounded fishy to me to about the GTS logo. I just wanted confirmation. Gabe |

I think he's allowed to put GTS badges on that car, considering the amount of money and work he dumped into that car to make the Viper V10 work. It's been featured in all 3 of the remaining Mopar magazines.

Nobody said that he wasn't allowed to put them on the car. A question was asked and answers were given.
