Cool

I have a 65 coronet that is cable shift 727 and it has a slip yoke,1965 was the first year I believe that done away with the rear pump trans on some models. It should be just a matter of changing output shafts and finding a driveshaft with the correct length. Also the rear pump trannys had two cables one was for park!!

The slip yoke never made it to the cable shift 904s, only 727s. Also 65 727s still all had separate shift and park cables and a rear pump.
