clutch
Hey guys, me again.
I'm looking at different clutches to finish my conversion on my Duster ( 330 h.p. 318 - '65 A833 ) and checked into Centerforce and saw them to be around $460 for the setup with disc, plate, and bearing on the dual friction setup. There's gotta be something else out there that willl hold up to stop and go and not kill my wallet. I would rather spend the money on a clutch and finish my conversion than to spend the money on a higher stall converter for the 904 that's in there now! Any ideas, opinions, etc. are greatly appreciated! P.S. different subject: Any got a pair of BB motor mounts for a '68 B-Body? |

Centerforce also make a cheaper replacement type of unit. Not as expensive. At 330 hp, a pressure plate a little tuffer than stock is all thats needed. The dual friction is overkill.
Shop around, you'll find what you need. |

Dual friction seemed a bit much, but was the only one on their on-line catalog that was a complete kit. Stage I and II were incomplete ( no disc or N/A). I'll keep looking.
