4 gear id

where do I look on a 4 gear to get the id #s

was out of a 68 cuda,but the motor was a 318-78 I think,or that era anyways
I have no idea on it-it isnt an OD,has an old Hurst shifter,and been sitting for over 10 yrs-my dad parked the cuda and gradually stipped it,has a 68 now,and spare parts

anyways,I am thinking on putting it in my 80 volare when I yank the 6 and put the 318 in
its auto,but I like the idea of the 4 gear

when I get the location I will be asking for info on it
basically the year,ect
I want to rbt it and make it fit
