new engine
I have a 71 challenger, 2500 stall, shift kit, 318 w/ cam, intake, 3" exhaust. My question is there is someone selling a 340 w/ 474 cam, 9.5 to 1 compression, 30 over, 202 intake, 160 exhaust, is this a good match for my tranny? and is it a good deal for $900?
Thanks for any info. |

900.00 is a good price for a running 340..... if this is a street car your convertor will be fine.... but if your going to race it you will need 3600 to 3800 stall.....Lee..

If whoever built it is reliable, and you know the work, then I'd say it's a good buy.
