Question Using lash caps

was thinking about using a set of lash caps to stop some of the wear and tear on my rocker gear and tips of the valves.adjustable rockers and long stem valves are expensive.do people still use them or are they a thing of the past?

They are still available from Mopar. My friend used them on his stock car.

I use 'em. For $40 bucks, they protect a lot of gear. Plus if you have an extra thread protruding on your adjustable rockers, this is a good way to shorten the reach of the threaded adjuster.

I've heard that they are mandatory with a cam that is 0.600"+ lift. I agree. If you're using dual springs, you should use lash caps.
