Mopar Performance still lists fenderwell headers for "A" engines in "A" body cars(P4286450) in the 2000 catalog.

I used Hooker flanges and made my own fenderwell headers. I hope I never have to do that again as it took many many many hours.

Wink

The reason i want them.1 beter flow, they dont make that drastic turn that chassis headers do,they continue to flow upward and make a gradual turn towards the fender.2.No steering or starter problems, this is a bracket car,not a problem to cut the inner fenders.3.They look cool and sound awsome.Oh yea its a 73 duster. waynebo

My friend is having a set made that will fit even a 66 Barracuda. They are about $200. They are a step header that go from 1 3/4" to 2" to 3". They are supposed to flow well and don't make any crazy bends. If I remember right, you can install them with the motor in place! Just sharing some info.

I have a set of Heddmen 1 7/8 small block headers on my valiant and they fit great. I had to put no dings in any tubes, and have no clearance problems at all. I can even take the headers off without picking the motor at all. I know this dosent really have any bearing to you, but I wanted others to know what else is out there.

I had a set on my 68 Dart 383 car...whew, they were ugly...i would think a nice set of Thorley underchassis headers would be the way to go....make the same power and easier to install...
