Default 8 3/4 thrust button, do I need it?

Hey guys, I am pretty new to this board and hope some one can help me with this. I have a 8 3/4 rear, '741, and I am installing a Powertrax Lock-Right locker and I am using the non-adjustable axle bearing. I heard that if you use the Green's you don't need the thrust block. Is this true?

Definitely out with it.

There is a good chance that if you leave it in, the axles won't fit in the housing. This is what happened to me when I did my rear disc/Green bearing conversion on my 8 3/4. Had it completely together only to have to bring it all the way back apart. That was a real bummer.
