Hello all.
I am thinking of rebuilding my fish and was looking for a little advice. I am looking for a weekend warrior with mostly 1/4 mile trips and the occasional drive around town. What would be a good engine to start with? Stroked 340 or 360? Shoe horn a 440 in the bay? I am new to Mopar ( if you havent guessed ) so Any help would be great. Also Anyone know of any good Classic Mopar stores in the Bay/Sac town area? Thanks in advance ------------------ 65 Barracuda, 273 Commando V8, 904 floor mounted. |

Hello fish
A stroked 360 would be cheaper because of the millions of cores left behind....CHEAP. The 340 would yeild more inches and be better because of the bigger bore. This helps unshroud the valves. A B/B is a project and a half. So if ya never did this type of thing, it could be pretty hard. |
