Default 232 red loctite

I use 232 red high strength loctite on the stud/bolt then copper gaskets on the header + run them for a day or two then check the bolts to see if any loosened off.

Biggrin RTV GOOD for me

Tried a teflon, loctite, and still got a bit of leaking around the bolts. Then I tried the high temp, RED RTV sealant. No more leaks. Also, if you are running headers; I suggest using STUDS furthest forward bolt hole and the furthest rear. This makes the headers a bit harder to install but dog gone it; they sure stay on there tight and don't ever leak! I always had problems with exhaust leaks and blowing gaskets around the header flange before I went to using a studs on the ends.
