Question bell housing help

Trying to help a friend out. He's changing to Dodge for next season and is looking for a steel bellhousing to run a muncie trans behind a mopar. Anyone know of any companies selling these?

Default Search Engine

If you use the search engine here, you should find a thread that deals with this subject. There is a guy in Minnesota that converts Chevy bellhousings to Mopar engines. They use the double flange crank in the 360 engine and bolt a Chevy flywheel directly to the Mopar engine and run all the Chevy stuff. Too bad, the lightweight Mopar 3 spd is lighter than the Chevy 3 spd. It was available on /6 Darts in the mid 70's. The guys name in Minnesota is John Hinkemeyer, but I don't remember where he is from or what shop he is affiliated with.

Default Jeg's Catalog

I've seen a bellhousing in the back of the Jeg's catalog for a SB Mopar to T10 type transmission. I assume that will work for a Muncie as well. It's not SFI rated though. I think it's made or sold by Hays.
