Pi(radius square). 3.1416 x radius square. 3.94 divided by 2 is 1.97. So 1.97 x 1.97 is 3.88 x 3.1416 is 12.19 x stroke 3.31 x 8 cylinders is 322.8. They said all this in school. Remember? Spelling class I think the called it.

If you use a 360 you already get a 4.00 bore. No replacement for cubes.

the easy formula for cubic inches - bore x bore x stroke x number of cylinders x .7854 , 3.94 x 3.94 x 3.31 x 8 x .7854 = 322.85

Before you bore check with your favorite ring and piston supplier to be sure they have the performance ring/piston set up that your looking for.
Just add 3.581 stroke crank at the same time and get 349.29 CID ------------------ Happiness is stomping a BBC with a 318 Mopar http://www.4secondsflat.com http://www.4secondsflat.com/fishfry1.jpg |
