How to mount new Griffin radiator
Well I jsut got the right radiator, I ahd a be cool one, but it was for a big block, not small block. So now I have a 24x19 chevy radiator. How do I go about mounting this thing? I ahve a few ideas, but if any of you have any ideas for a nice lookign bracket, please tell.
Oh yea, I ahve a chance to buy a 360 for 800 from my brother. Its fairly stock, cam/headers. Is it worth it? It has soem miles on it, but has new bearings/rings. Thanks everyone |

you can do the easy thing, and have some mounts like what comes on a stock radiator.... the wings..... soldered on for a couple of bucks.

Where would i get new mounts at? The ones on my current radiator would be too big for this one. And soldering...aluminum to sheet metal? hmmmm

The mounts will most likely have to be fabricated. Usually made in a shallow "U" configuration and located on the tanks not the tube section close to the welds to eliminate side to side movement. The 2 row 1" tubes cool very well. You will also want rubber isolators between the mounts and the tanks.
