Question Carlise All Chrysler Nats 2002 - are you going ?

JULY 12-14 2002

"Having begun life as Chryslers at Carlisle, this event’s name changed in the year 2000, when event promoters felt it had truly achieved national status. Now known as the Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals, the show has received outstanding media reports year after year propelling it to the highest level of popularity in the Mopar world. Experiencing steady growth since the day of inception, Carlisle is pleased to report a strong forecast for future growth.

Visiting the Carlisle show as special guests, the design team of the PT Cruiser found itself surrounded by PT Cruisers and their loyal owners. Having already generated a high volume of enthusiast interest, the Cruiser will surely bring many new owners to the event in the years to come.

The All-Chrysler Nationals has something for everyone. We offer a complete schedule of activities for women and children throughout the weekend. Gearheads can take part in informative seminars, Friday night drag racing, dyno testing and a tire scorching burn out pit for those wishing to lay some rubber."

For more information call (717) 243-7855

Here is this years give away :

Road Runner certainly ranks as one of Mopar's best-known names and most wanted models. Carlisle Events' give-away for July 12-14's All-Chrysler Nationals is no exception, the 1973 dark gray model is in pristine condition. A 318 ci V-8 was standard equipment on all '73s. And the motors featured a new EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) system, electric choke and office spark advance. A total of 19,056 were produced with a factory price of $3,115.

You have the chance to win this 1973 Plymouth Road Runner! You must be present on Sunday, July 14, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. No purchase necessary to win.

Now, who's going

Default Can't wait

I would not miss it. Go every year. I already have my hotel reservations. It is the best. The Mopar Mailing List gets together and has a super BBQ.

Cool

If I had to choose one Mopar event for '02, it would have to be the Carlisle all Chrysler Nats. I'll be there early.

is there anyone that knows of a camp ground near by the show.
we will be camping in a tent for the weekend.

i was thinking of going to the museum thursday and then finish the drive thursday afternoon to carlisle.

I haven't been able to go yet since I was in Cali, but now that I'm in Indiana, I'm really hoping to make it. Even if it's only for one day. Would like to get some more details about it, though (tickets, parking, night time events, etc.).

As a stock car racer my weekends have been tied up in years past. It looks good for me to be able to make Sunday this year. I've heard lots about the many fine street and strip machines. Sounds like an event where a man could die with a smile on his face.

Curious, are there vendors/dealers (besides the name brand folks) where a guy could do some haggling for some motor parts? I'm just used to most of the stock car used parts/swap meet venues happening in the "off season". Regardless I'll be there.

Just expand your search area for a room , go 20-25 miles away, Maybe chambersburgh area . You will find a room.

You can camp on the grounds for a small fee. They have clean rest rooms with showers that are open 24 hrs. Its a pretty good deal.
