Default Extrude Hone

Just wondering if anyone has used extrude hone for their intakes, heads,or exhaust manifolds. How well does it work? Any time slip difference or mileage increase. How much is it?
I had thought about trying is on a future buildup. You know looks stock but carries big power!!! (sleeper)

supposedly, it's great stuff, but expensive. saw an article on doing a ford intake, that alone cost over $900. but that was a few years ago. just havent heard much about it lately. would really like for it to be cheaper.

It's a great process that gives alot of extra horsepower, however, the price is still way too much. Take a look aty http://www.extrudehone.com/pwrfloprice.html for pricing.

Simple break down is as follows:

Any Cast Iron Intake 525.00
8 Cylinder Cast Iron Heads 995.00
8 Cylinder Exhaust - Iron 500.00

Just a couple of issues ago they tested extrude honed exhaust manifolds in a Hemi, they were worth a couple of horsepower too. Maybe worth of the money in that particular car, but a total vaste of maney in anything else than a pure stock racer.
