Default Cam HP and Torque

I have a 72 Satellite Sebring 318 auto
Daily Driver, never to see a race track
basically stock except for
Dual Exhaust with low restriction mufflers
70 cast 340 intake with a carter 625
Mopar electronic ignition with orange ECU
8 3/4 rear with 3.23 gears
Dual snorkel air cleaner
Next I would like to intall a cam, rhoads vairable rate lifters and chain
P4452759 .430"/.450" lift, 260/268 duration
How much honest HP and Torque increase with I get with the cam
Thanks

I should rephrase that question
How much APPROXIMATE HP and Torque increase can can I expect
Thanks in advance
Fred..

Default Edumakated guess

The intake w/4bbl and better exhaust is worth about 15-20 hp. Adding the cam is about another10-15hp when working with the better breathing 4bbl and exhaust. Or 30-35 HP over from where you started.
This 318 could pop out 260-265 hp.
Only a dyno could nail it down. Make sure you have tuned well before heading to the dyno.
Of course theres some info missing. Non the less.

Default Cam HP

Thanks for the reply Rumblefish360
With adding a windagetray(another post)
A 265-275 HP 318 would be nice ( cheap HP )
even in a 3800 lb Satellite
I know a good mopar mechanic who can tweek the last HP out of an engine.
He can tune my car before Dyno Time.

Default Just so you know...

The extra power from the tray is seen up top in the RPM range. Where the windage is most servere(sp)
That HP figure was a guess-ta-mit of what could be had when startingout with the 230hp'd 318. A bump in compression would help ensure this figure since the advertised comp ratio wasn't allways what they said it would be.
For that cam/engine combo, a 9-1 ratio would be very nice.

Good luck.
