Run tubes in Hoosiers or not?
Group, Tired of spinning on the street and picked up set of Hoosier Quick Time Pros. The mfgr. advises running tubes; is this necessary for street use and occasional strip use? Any pros or cons?
Thank you, Gary Pavlovich |

Gary, I run those on my Duster and used to run them on my truck. They work great but I would advise you to use tubes. I have tried to run them without the tubes and they work fine for a day at the races, but will go flat overnight. Depending on what size you have, you can get away with some cheap radial tubes from Pep Boys. Don't forget to pin them! It worked for me.
That must have been your Poly in Mopar Muscle a few month back, real cool. |
