Question

On the disc brake conversion of B bodies why is the pin type caliper favored or recommended over the sliding type caliper. personally I think I'm going with the sliding type if it will work

actually it isnt as the locating pin sits in a rubber bushing which deflects like crazy when pushed hard. The slider is more positively located and is more desirable. So 60s man how are things in Kokomo? I havent been there in 25 yrs,I grew up in indianapolis in the you guessed it 60's.saw my 1 st mopar there,a 69 Charger R/T,it came squealing around the corner as i walked home from school,It pulls up and My Dad was driving it,so I hopped in and He nailed it untill He almost lost it,too cool for a 5th grader,it was Hemi Orange with a White R/T stripe.well has anybody there figured out what the hell a "Hoosier" really is?...keep the mopar faith......PRO....

Cool

Thanks for the reply PRO every article I've read on the disc conv. has always referred to the pin type caliper and I've not agreed with it but didn't really know if I could use the slider or not. I have plans on using everything off of a 75 Dart.As for here in Kokomo it's cold as hell right now and ready to smell some tire smoke alcohol and some summer air!!! Nice story about your dad too
