Infinity Radio ???
I want to swap the Infinity radio/tape head from my '89 LeBaron into my '86 GTS. On removing the system from the Turbo Coupe, I noted that it only had one connector (the black one), but the GTS, which has the original AM/FM head has two (black and gray). Is this swap possible? The Infinity has both black and gray connectors, but only the one was being used. The GTS head was using both.

Did the radio in the GTS work?
Does the GTS have a gray connector or just 1 black connector? Chrysler usually has the two connectors on all there systems.I don't think I've ever seen just one. |

The AM/FM that I'm removing from the GTS works fine. I don't know about the Infinity, because it came out of a non-running car. The GTS has both the gray and blck connectors, as well as a braided ground strap and the antenna wire. The Coupe that the Infinity came out of only has the (oops, I just went out and looked, and it has both, but only one was connected when I went to pull the unit). Maybe someone was in the dash before me! Well, I guess that this answers my question. Thanks for your reply though.
