Cool Straight piping da cummins :)

If you've wondered what one sounds like, here's your chance to hear.

3 inch straight pipe on an otherwise stock 93.

Hey 93 Cummins, how do you like the Dr. Performance kit? Did you notice any mileage improvement? I have a stock engine with straight exhaust, K&N air filter, and the fuel turned up. I noticed quite a big difference in power once I turned the fuel up. The mileage hasn't gone down drastically , unless I want to hear the Big 6 roar. I've been thinking about getting a smaller turbo housing so it will spool up even quicker.

Default I love the Dr. Performance mods.

I love the Dr. Performance mods. to my truck. Some people here think there are other better cost effective mods, but I had a problem with the injector pump and was looking at pretty big bucks to have the pump rebuilt. With the Dr. Performance package, I got a new pump and new injectors, plus their warranty. A traveling technician came to my house, and had my truck going in an afternoon, as opposed to waiting on a rebuilder etc. Mileage has gotten slightly better, power has gotten UNBELIEVABLY better, and being in SW Ohio, home of emissions testings on diesels (another way for govt. to squeeze some money out of you) I passed our treadmill emissions test with no problems whatsoever. I see you are close to me distance wise. Email me if you have any other quesitons, I'd be happy to talk to you. I plan on changing the turbo too, but I'm going to wait until my turbo gives me problems, if it ever does.

I thought that I would have to go through emissions too, but found out that if I buy commercial plates, I do not. I don't like the idea of some kid getting in my truck and screwwing it up. Besides, I don't have to make a trip to the emissions place either. Money well spent! Since I added more fuel to it, it does belch a little black smoke out, so I don't think mine would pass emissions anyway. I'm not taking any chances.
