Default Thanks for helping an Old Fart

I tried for at least an hour trying to post a pic...this Guy does it in his sleep....

hahahahhaaaa

Anyhow...that's a pic from last year in it's street legal condition and running 12.50's.

As soon as we get the beast finished this year I'll post the latest version. But you've all probably seen gutted fish before?

Don

Default Never...well maybe once....

Most people love the hood...if you've ever see the inside of one of these little A-Body cars you'll realize that there is nowhere to mount 2 5/8" guages....the rear opening in the scoop makes a perfect cave for them to hide in....and I can see them without my bi-focals.

Last year we were down to the final 4 cars and some fool came up to me asked me the same question..."Isn't that a Chevy Hood Scoop"...he was smaller than me so pulled my hat down tight, slide my bi-focals down on my nose and gestured with one finger....."Is that your car over there on that trailer?... Aren't those Mobile Home axles under it?"......I had taken him out in about the 2nd round.......

Nice ride dude. Looks like Bob Cravens ride from years past. He still has it. The car was in Big Daddys musem for a while. He used to break records alot back in the day. His was Gold in color.
As for the hood. Just use what works and tell'em your wauting for Ma MoPar to make something. (That coould be a while.)
