THERE WILL BE MP GO FAST PARTS AVAILABLE SHORTLY AFTER. THE CAR IS SAID TO HIT 60 MPH IN 5.9 SECONDS. THIS IS PRETTY QUICK FOR A STOCK NEON. THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES WITH MODIFICATION TO THIS 2,700LB CAR.

IT MAY NOT BE HARD TO GET THEM INTO THE 12'S! PLUS, THE 2.4L BLOCK IS MUCH STRONGER THAN THE COMMON BLOCK EVERY COULD BE. CHECK OUT THE PICTURES OF THE SRT-4 HERE:

Yeah to bad those things are so ugly... how bout putting one of those 2.4 turbos in my 97 , cant wait until i can get my hands on a wrecked one get a good exaust, up the psi a little should be putting out 250 horse no prob.

I THINK IT'S PRETTY SHARP. NEON'S HAVE NEVER BEEN A "GREAT" LOOKING CAR, YOU JUST GET USED TO THEM.

I THINK I WOULD GET USED TO MY "UGLY" NEON IF IT HAD A 2.4L INTERCOOLED TURBO UNDER THE HOOD. SPEED IS LIKE PLASTIC SURGERY FOR YOUR CAR, IF IT'S QUICK IT KINDA OUTSHINES THE UGLY SIDE.

I THINK IT WILL SELL GREAT, DECENT PERFORMANCE FOR UNDER 20 GRAND? SOUNDS GOOD TO ME.

All I can say about the SRT Neon is "Hell Yeah" !!! I first wanted to get one of the new Rams in 2003 when the new hemi engine comes out. Now I'm not sure...might have to get one of these first

just a thought, but all the best mopars were hideously ugly. in fact, the uglier the better. think about this, the letter cars (i.e. 300a) would scare small children if it were on the streets today, not to mention the senior citizen styling of the dart, the fury (all the variants) and the satallite. but put a big ass magnum or hemi V8 under the hood, and that is real easy to overlook. i think that ugly is part of the reason we all love mopar. its kind of an under dog thing, but the dogs always have a hell of a bite...if you know what i mean.
