Super Six Cam ?

Hi can some one tell me if there is a difference between the super six cam and a cam out of a stock 225 ? Thanks

I have heard rumors that a Super Six got a different cam, but I have never seen any proof. The '73(?) and later Slants did have a hotter cam than the earlier Slants though.

I think the "hotter" stock cam was used from '69 or so on to '75. This was the marine cam used in the marine slant six.

Aside from the Hyper-Pak kit cam, all the factory "stock" SL6 cams were pretty wimpy but they will give you a smooth idle, great low RPM torque and decent MPG.
