I don't know about the Rd Rnr's but, on my '73 Cuda, I went to the corners where the hoodbumppers are. Took'em out and installed Mr.Gasket hood locks. There preety flush to the hood.

not sure on factory installation ,but there is a spot under the hood on 70 gtx that the pins fit nice which happen to line up with the radiator suport bolts.i don't believe there is any other place for them .i pulled them and put pins in ,put a little grease on the end of them and closed the hood easy, and drilled on the mark. hope this helps
