Question which heads?

I have a set of 360 J heads that have been shaved .010 and I also have a set of 308 heads. Which heads should I run for a circle track car. I have a 360 .040 over and I cant port the heads or anything.
the way I see it, the 308 heads would help compression, but the J heads will flow better.

The 308's should outperform the J head. Extra compresion and a better fuel burning head. Flow tested them yet?

I'm not sure if the R/T heads are legal, but I don't have the cash for them anyway. I just have both sets of these heads, so I want to know which ones to run. I am pumping about every spare dollar I have into this car (and that ain't much).

lol.. I can understand that. just from the power stand point, the magnum heads are better flowing, and the r/t's even better still. An edge that would be really handy to have when running in circles.. or anytime for that matter. They aren't that expensive, but then you still have more stuff to add on top of it all. dont suppose you have any more sponsor ship room on your sheetmetal do ya??
