I just bought a cam from Mopar Performance and when I got it home I noticed on the box it said for manual transmissions. I have a auto and I was wondering if this cam would still work in my car?

Typically, MP makes their manual trans cams with a little less low end (lope)than their comparable auto trans cams. Manual trans cams dont have to turn a hydraulic pump at 750 RPM like a auto trans does. Take for instance the '68 340 cams: auto was a .430/.445 while the manual cam was .445/.455 with 4 more degrees of intake (26 BTDC compared to 22 BTDC for auto) It will work, but would be more ideally suited for its engineered application.
