Question Tranny dip stick length

Hey all, a while back I posted about a anti freeze smell when the heater was turned on. Well during the three times it took them to replace the heater core I had them replace the tranny dip stick because it wouldn't stay down in the tube. The new one does the same thing so I guess my question is did Dodge screw up and put the wrong length stick in the 2000 4.7 and the dealer orderd the same wrong one?

Has anyone else have this happen and what did you do to correct it(maybe cut some off the end)?

OK I guess no one has this problem. Can anyone tell me the correct part # for the dip stick?

Thanks TMAC.
