Same problem
I have a 2K R/T 5.9 and noted the same problem: Excessive noise while turning the wheel while stationary" to my dealer. They tell me that it is normal, but it does seem a bit louder than it should. I have a ton of warranty left (only at 11k miles now), so I am just going to leave it be and see if it gets worse.

Jim:
Noise from your pump is not good. It could be a belt that's to tight, or bearings going out. Do you have the factory tow package? The only time that you should get noise is when ya crank the wheels all the way to one side or the other. If ya have the factory tow package, you have a power steering filter. It may be blocked up. Just my $ .02. Later Ugg |
