Default SOHC vs. DOHC

I am looking into possibly get a Neon '98 or so and was wondering the differences between the single cam motor and the two cam motor. I know the power is 132HP and 129TRQ for the single and 150HP and 130TRQ for the double, but is there a big differnce? What is the difference in the motors besides the number of cams? Does adding the Mopar computer make much difference on either motor? Which is the best air intake? What kind of gas mileage do you guys get? Sorry for all the questions and thanks for the help.

Wes

well both motors are pretty even, you can get a little more max hp out of the dohc but the sohc is not far behind, I have the mopar comp. and it does make a nice increase in power i would recomend it and the iceman intake is probably the best intake to get.
