Well fellows, the mopar/mercury project got trashed last night. I had finaly found some of my parts and went down to trailer it home from my dad's house. On the way home, the front strap on the car snapped and we lost in on the interstate. No one else involved luckily. It even stripped out the brake on my trailer winch. It is a total loss. I trailered it to a local frame jig shop this afternoon and swapped it for some work in the near future. The wife and i decided today to go pro street with my 65 cuda "s". It is already at the house thank goodness. So i guess in an unfortunate way it is an all MOPAR unit from here. Thank you for the input on the project.

Ohhhh.... I feel for you, man! Could be worse, though, coulda' happened on the first trip to the track... Had a customer about 11 years ago that had me re-do & add to the roll cage in a 63 Vette. A mile from the shop, it came off the trailer & wrapped around a tree.
Good luck with the 65! <font color = 990033>DB</font> |

Sorry to hear about your day. Are you REALLY sure you want to cut up an ORIGINAL 65 Barracuda Formula 'S'? Formula 'S' models are not too common, ya know. Good luck with whatever you decide.
