Micro switch or button?
Ok. We made our final decison on what class we are going to run for points last night. We have paid so their is no backing out now. We have to run 11.99 or faster but dont want to go to much over 11.49 as we wont have enough money or time to add a roll bar or cage. So the plan right now is that if the convertable dont sell we are going to go with a fogger system. Adding around 100hp. A couple of people have said to go with the plate but we dont like the look and the fogger system is souposed to be more efficent. Now the question is that we ran a plate system before off a button in 2nd and 3rd gear. Car was constant but could have been better when the bottle was on. We didnt have time to figure out if it was the system it self the car, the traction problems or a mix of all 3. Now the question is that anyone gone form a button to a micro switch or vice versa? Which one is more constant? We plan to set the switch at full throtle and above 3500 or 4000 rpm and used the hole 1/4 mile.
Hopefully we wont run out of time as we have alot of work to be done on 4 cars that has to be done before end of march. Hopefully this year mother nature will spare us some free time! Let me know guys how your expirence was with a fogger system or the micro switch.
