whats stock tire size on my RAM?? - Moparchat

resently purchased a 97 RAM SPORT 4X2 (used) it has GY WRANGLER ST 245/75/16. Is this the standard tire size for the truck or did the previous owner change'em???

I'm pretty sure that's the stock tire size. What does it say on the specs located when you open the Driver's door on the panel?

thats the part that puzzles me, it says 225/75/16 but I have heard from others that 245s are stock?

Both sizes are factory sizes. The 245's usually come with the nicer trim package and alloy wheels. The 225's are often found on the factory steel wheels

that would explain the 245s, its a sport model with the alloy wheels.
