Default Correct TQ for Li'l Red Truck?

Does anyone have a manual that specifically covers the '78-'79 Li'l Red Trucks?

I have a '78 with an aftermarket Edelbrock carb that was put on by the last owner to pass CA smog. Unhappy with the performance and desiring to put it back to original, I am buying a TQ. Everything I've read says the truck's unique "EH1" engine came with an 850, but the carb guy insists it is a standard 800, like all other 4-barrel 360 truck engines.

HELP!

Default T-Quad

I am running 2 of them, small block is a 780 as far as I know, and the big block one is 930 cfm, I have only heard of one other strip use one at 1000 cfm.

Have to agree with six pack though, I am lucky enough to have access to a real good T- Quad guy, and they are very reliable when set up properly.

Brain, My lists show four TQ's for the 78-79 Lil-Red Express. 9172s, 9173s, 9226s and 9273s. All were 1 3/8 pri. I copied a partial list of TQ's. All came from Mopar Repair Manuals.

For Performance I like the 72-76 mopar 440, HP 360's. They don't have the lean-air circuit. Easier to tune.

For Cold weather My Favorite TQ's were the one's for Ford car, International trk. They all had the vacuum choke attached and it is easy to adjust the choke-works great.

I'm in Anaheim CA. I have a ton of TQ's. I also can jet one for Antelope Valley. If you need help contact me at vernvesco@mindspring.com or 1 714 630 3336 After 7:00 PM PST.
